Had a quick lunch today.
My husband had the carnitas burrito (6.99) It was tasty and not greasy. We especially liked the salsa bar choices, the verde sauuce was excellent. I had a carne asada soft taco(1.99),the steak was well seasoned. I appreciated the fresh ingredients. The owner is very nice as previously stated. We will definitely be back.
Great outdoor seating.

I was just down south in Los Angeles and took my family to eat at an old spot in East Los Angeles called King taco and was disappointed by the quality of the meat, I guess me and my family are getting spoiled at Cocina Mexico the owners do care about quality and show it in the food they serve. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Pleasanton….

My absolute favorite Mexican food restaurant! Amazing service. Owner is kind polite and wonderful to interact with. Their carnitas and asana tacos are the best I have ever had; along with their horchata…their is no comparison. Closest thing I have ever had to Cocina Mexico is Las Barisa in Ensanada, Mexico. My wife and I go here at the very least once a week.

New crunch wrap is delicious!! Guaca salsa much improved. Perfect, in my opinion.
I choose chile verde for the wrap and it’s spectacular

This review has been a LONG time coming, but I finally took the time to sign up on Yelp, so here goes!
Hands down, best Taqueria we have found in the East Bay. My wife and I, and are 4 children eat here at least once a week, and we have yet to find anything on the menu that isnt amazing. The steak anything (burrito, tacos, crunch wrap, etc) is my personal favorite, while my wife prefers the chicken nachos. The kids love the quesidillas, and the rice and beans. Excellent salsa bar with some relatively spicy options to choose from. Nice outdoor dining area as well. Great food, great service, great atmosphere, just an all around good spot. And the price is right as well!! Please check this place out soon!

Best Mexican food in Pleasanton! Prompt friendly service, ice cold beers, authentic made from scratch cuisine, and a delicious salsa bar. The owner Tony took time to chat with us and tell us about all the wonderful authentic ingredients. Will definitely be back!

I would highly recommend this place. The staff and environment were very friendly and inviting. The food was amazing way better than Taco Bell. I will definitely be coming back and recommending it to everyone I know.

El Pastor and Carnitas tacos! Delicious. Plus they will grill Serranos for me, I’m in heaven. Fish Tacos on the weekends. We’re going back very soon. Will try everything on the menu.
